Also sorry that you had a problem getting the comment in, thanks for letting me know there was a problem - persistence is a great personality trait! :-D  I agree with you about the small things. I think about things like turning off the water while I&#039;m brushing my teeth. I use cold water, so the warm water problem is no problem. We have our own wells here at the B&amp;B in Italy, so we&#039;re also a little more conscious of water use. With no rain for 4 to 6 months in the summer, it can get critical.</description>

I&#039;m into greening my house right now (and documenting that on my website), but due to my permaculture background, I&#039;m always looking for ways to conserve energy. Like taking advantage of residual heat in the oven, and even in the tea kettle, after my morning coffee. The water leftover is just the right temperature for brushing my teeth, an hour later. It seems petty, but hey, to get a glass of lukewarm water I have to turn the tap on for several minutes.</description>
